The Graduate Student Government (GSG) will be hosting Graduate Research Appreciation Day on April 6 - April 8, 2021, in conjunction with the UMD Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition.
Graduate Research Appreciation Day (GRAD) provides an on-campus conference-style venue in which graduate students from all academic backgrounds can share their research or work, obtain valuable faculty and peer feedback, and hone their communication skills within the comfort of their own campus environment. GRAD fosters healthy competition among students by recognizing and awarding the best presentations from subject-themed oral, poster, and elevator-speech presentation sessions.
Please register here by February 22nd.
PRESENTATION GUIDELINES WILL BE EMAIL OUT TO REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS.
GRAD is made possible by the generous support of our partners:
Graduate Research Appreciation Day is in need of volunteers to help out: we need volunteers to monitor and host zoom rooms, and pack giveaways . Volunteers have the option of working the 3 days or base on their schedule. If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
