GSG is one of the best ways to meet graduate students across fields through committees, events, programs and initiatives. GSG holds grad pub social events and is about to restart outdoor trips solely for graduate students.
Through university, state, and national coalitions and representation, GSG members ensure graduate student needs, ideas and concerns are heard and known. Resolutions voted on in Assemblies are one type of action alongside advocacy days and visits to Annapolis.
GSG allocates graduate student activities fee monies back to graduate student groups for successful events.
GSG is now developing a grant program for graduate students as well to be made available Spring 2020.
GSG is a leadership group. Program Representatives and the Executive team work via Assemblies, committees and administrators at various levels to lead the charge toward positive changes for the entire graduate student community.
